Leyland 1937

The scale is 1/12 so its large.The model is scratch built and constructed over a period of 3 years,The body is wood ,the metal fittings brass chrome plated.
I was able to get a copy of the original Leyland quotation and plan from the Fire Museum in Edinburgh.

Congratulations on a very impressive model which must have required much patience as well as skill. I have been building a series of fire engines in 1/12 scale, but in Meccano. Perhaps I should add them to this site now that you have created a 1/12 section?
