1970 ERF 50' Pump Hydraulic Platform.

I have been asked to re-submit another picture of this 1.76 scale model of the City of York Fire Brigade's 1970 ERF/HCB-Angus(50'PHP)Pump Hydraulic Platform now that I've changed the wheels.Also,the locker handles have been altered,extra support to the top boom been added,and last,a re-touch-up of paintwork required in places due to colour(yellow)being easily marked.
The picture shows the appliance this time from a different angle(also see picture #1062)and shows the rear of the appliance and the crew(well they had to be in the shot)posing for the camara.
Again,the backdrop to this picture showing York Fire Station is by Paul Warnock and kindly used with his permission.
I'm still drawing up plans to make a model of York Fire Station,but another project has already been started so I will finish this first.

Hey Bob,its on a hill,and those firemen weighing the back down does'nt help.Actually,looking straight at the appliance from the side those ladders just need shortening abit making them level with the back locker(just looked at a picture of the real thing)so thats another job to be done.

It looks much better now - replacing naff wheels is one of those fairly simple changes that can make a huge difference to a model. I've never seen these ERFs before so I'll have to keep my eyes open for one.
