A collection of toy fire appliances

In May 2010 I found these toy fire engines in one of my storage boxes for projects for my model fire brigade.

On the left is an ERF Pump Escape made by an unknown manufacturer. The model is of one of the 55 London Fire Brigade ERF 84PF/ ERF Jennings Pumps/ Pump Escapes. Elsewhere on this site there is a picture of a York ERF Pump Hydraulic Platform that Pete Matten has made. This is what the Yellow ERF Pete Matten rebuilt would have looked like before he converted it.

The Land Rover in the middle is a battered Matchbox toy while the vehicle on the right is an Impy AEC Mercury TGM4/ 100' Merryweather Turntable Ladder.

Thanks for the mension George in reference to the City of York ERF/PHP (picture #1096) conversion I recently did.I actually started yesterday (18th June) making a model of the York City Fire Station which I hope to have finished in about 2 weeks ready to display at the Amberley Fire & Emergency Services Weekend with the other York models on the 3/4 July,2010.The delay in starting the model of York was actually due to my only just finishing a War-time period station with scratch-built NFS appliances ready for this years Shows/Rallies/Open-Days.Pete.
