Another nice one Graham, i think the Airfix kit was a petrol station originally.
The Lomas conversion looks similar to vehicles Gloucestershire fire brigade had.

Hi B.Bob, absolutely correct, Gloucestershire took delivery of 7 Bedford J1/Carmichael Light Pumpers in the 1970's. My model of a Heavy Unit is purely imaginery, but I liked it. I am posting a photograph now.
