King George V Class battleship model at Riverside Museum, Glasgow in June 2011.
She came from the Fairfield yard at Govan in 1942 and was launched as BEATTY. Scrapping took place at Inverkeithing from May 1958.

my dad served on this battleship in the pacific fleet, he was at the surrender of Japan in Tokyo harbour, I have pictures of him in the Royal marines mess 98 mess to be precise when they were in New Zealand
