Espainia Bomberos Estacion.

This diarama shows my scratchbuilt typical fire station from Spain produced to 1.87 scale.The model fire engines to the left which include 2 Pegaso pumping appliances and a Pegaso Turntable Ladder were produced by the Spanish model maker EKO,where as the fire chiefs(Bomberos)BMW 3251 Touring vehicle and the Mercedes Benz M Class(Ambulancia)Ambulance are from a set of 3 Spanish liveried vehicles by Hongwell(Cararama)in the 1.87 scale.The other vehicle in the set is a Mercedes Benz Vito van of the Guardia Civil(Police).
Well,we've all been having a pleasent tour around Europe,first Germany then Luxembourg,then France now Spain,next were going back to Germany and Frankfurt Airport(might see some crash tenders?)to think about where we'll fly off to next.Your guess is as good as mine.......Enjoy the trip.

George, from an old picture which for some reason I now cannot find, it showed the TL situated inside the station in the middle of the 2 bays behind the pumps.
The model fire station was roughly based on a real station when I first built it some years ago, but recently I've re-done alot to it and it certainly looks alot better now, even though parts of it now are not authentic.Pete.
