Matchbox 1/48 Cadillac V16 pumper rear viewThis Matchbox model was made for their fire engine series in the scale 1/48. It is a Cadillac V16 limousine which was rebuilt into a pumper during the war years, in this form it was used in Switzerland during the second world war and the years after that. The same things happened in the Netherlands during the second world war, several older cars were rebuilt to become fire engines.
