Nice, the body looks like a diecast one, not scratch built, very impressive.

Absolutely superb. What do you use for the roof beacons?

Fabulous model! Devon must have been one of the last brigades to use locker doors instead of roller shutters?

Hi
I'm glad you all liked the model.I think lockers look better than roller shutters, I think Devon changed the RS to roller shutters part way though the order,

Phil
The beacons are the tips from Revell contacta nozzle covers !!! They look just right.

Yes nice model John. Fife also was one of the last brigades in Scotland with all red bodywork and lift up Lockers with Dodge K Series up till V or Y reg Dodge G13's.

C reg Dodge G13 with Fulton&Wylie C104 VSC was the last to be delivered to Fife, with a Lightbar and wailers I think. I was in Stornaway last I heard, hope its still there.

The main problem with these locker doors (Worcestershire had them too until combined with Herefordshire in 74) was on windy days. Many's the time you'd walk round the far side of the pump to find a fireman hanging out of the locker, unconcious after one of the doors had been blown down onto the back of his head while he reached in to get some kit.

C104VSC was delivered with beacons & retro-fitted with lightbar & 'yelps'.
