Model of one of the 5 Warship Class diesel hydraulic locos built to their own design by the North British Loco Co at Springburn in Glasgow in the late 1950s for the western Region of BR.
All were withdrawn by 1968 and she and D601 ARK ROYAL ended up at Barry scrapyard in South Wales but sadly did not pass into preservation.
This was taken in Glasgow's Transport Museum in March 2010 shortly before closure in preparation for removal to it's new site close by.
