USS AtlantaUSS Atlanta CLAA51, a light cruiser armed with a primary battery of five inch weapons for anti aircraft purposes. This radio controlled model was built from scrap parts and is approximately four feet in length. Currently on display at the Broomfield Veterans Museum which is open for visitors on Saturdays from 11AM to five PM. Model ship display will last until May 31, 2010.
